chuffed, chuffed. i was able to follow instructions to create this pattern! i liken the experience to being able to discern a weaving draft for the first time, therefore it's a milestone. now that i know i can make it, the regularity of the open work is not to my liking and as a result i have begun to extrapolate the instructions.

i feel confident enough to start knitting with the fine and precious linen yarn now.the dyes are steeping in alcohol waiting for that project.
what i cannot even begin to believe is that this morning my friendly postman buzzed with a packet for me. from sunny choi from hong kong. the order was placed on the 14th and got to my door today, april 23rd, with weekends in the middle. i haven't had enough time to find punch card patterns on line!!

I really like the extrapolation! Yes, Sunny Choi services are pretty impressive, I had some good spare part purchases from them.

ReplyDeleteThose are very cool swatches! Can't wait to see what you do with the linen.
