simple dropped shoulder top. a two hour stint which i was truly grateful for after the week's paper pushing mega BS- this ain't finished folks more coming up (>x<) .

the fabric is very soft and supple. it could have taken a bit more fulling, but as ever i'm always short on width. dreaming about a wider loom and contemplating the megado .

as the saying goes god is in the details. found these vintage italian glass buttons and put them to rest until its time came. think the button works well here. notice the crafty handmade buttonhole loop(^_^)

i'm finding a lot of satisfaction in these projects as they  encompass textile design, pattern generation, weaving, sewing and sometimes dyeing. not to mention wearing a one of. god this IS couture!!!!!

 this weekend i will be celebrating the conclusion of this little number and  this is what i'm going to be doing. even al gore, hilary and bill did it.

yes!, i'm going to be doing the macarena.

because i had tension- the warp not me- problems i had to cut and re tie several times thus ending with 3 panels of different lengths. now i'm practicing live geometry and needing those few centimeters.

hoping  that as patterns tend to be generous with the measurements it will all end well. and  about patterns this is a good place for them, especially vintage ones.

really, really wish i had 90cms wide of handwoven fabric  to try this

first dip

seems that i can control a vat better if it's small and if i work in the kitchen because the temperature is easier to control. even in sunny spain in the summer i notice that the vats are not working fully with the  natural heat.i'd need non plastic vats and a heat source. and a divorce lawyer for sure.

note how the greenish cast has disappeared and the blue is cleaner and brighter! also note how the photos are not embellished with textures. the ai on linen knit is speaking for itself. (^_^) i'm aiming for more dips but the vat is almost exhausted. maybe i'll have time to replenish the vat between BS sessions because this is going to be paper pushing BS week. it's a good thing this has been a very satisfactory session.
