final draft

thank goodness the holidays are over!  being back to normal everyday life is a relief.
yesterday i sewed together part of the skirt from this cloth. can't believe it has taken me so long! but once i meet a roadblock in sewing, the project languishes unfinished until it becomes an embarrassment. (there's candidate this year for the languishing  award)
on the other hand i finally decided on the draft for this warp which has been patiently waiting.
parallel advanced threading , same treadling unadvanced (neologism). love the way the color shifts diagonally.

let's get working!

  2. I know exactly what you mean about the languishing projects. I have a few of those kicking around annoyingly myself!

  3. Great draft! I especially like the little extra zing in each motif of the treadling. Gives an extra bit of excitement to the cloth.
