  1. One's worst fear--having all one's blog disappear. I empathize with your fear and frustration, having to put so much effort into fixing things and looking for alternatives.

  2. Aha! This one strikes a chord. It explains succinctly what every technical writer working with highly complex subject matter needs to keep in mind. I worked many years as a manager of writers in high tech companies, and had to pound this into their heads every day. "Write it like you're telling your computerphobic mother how to accomplish the task."
