I didn't know either.I've met him and he gave me feedback on my graduate work. He was so innovative.I need to get his books I couldn't afford them as a student.
He will be missed by the weaving community - his generosity was incredible. I was lucky enough to see some of his macrogauzes at an exhibition in Switzerland in 1985 - wish i'd bought one! A wasted opportunity.
