destashing. HA!

ribbons
Yesterday i took a friend to Mokuba. And tell me pray thee how could i resist these iridescent lovelies?
Especially after finding they were less than a Euro? There's not a thing that costs lees than a € these days. Plus they are full of stories that will be. Eventually :)
Notice they come with a lollipop. Need i say more?

This is for dyers and weavers, especially silk lovers. The project is a very interesting sustainable cottage industry and the article is via Design Boom. Enjoy!

Downloaded last night the new Firefox in a rush as the organization was trying to establish a record for one day d'loads. So far so good except that my beloved Pera-pera kun for reading Japanese pages is not compatible with the new version. Neither is Rikaichan. Guess that after doing my good deed of the day i'll uninstall Firefox 3 and go back to the older version. Can't live without Pera-kun.

  1. Can't wait to hear your stories behind these and the machined pieces in the last post.
And what a bargain these ribbons were especially in such subtle colours. Usually anything so inexpensive is very loud.

  2. You went to Mokuba in Barcelona? Oh, oh, if so, I'd like to have the address, maybe I can convince my daughter to go there and buy some for me???

  3. Thanks for the compliment on my blog. I look forward to seeing what you do with the ribbons, I think I can guess what will happen to the lollipop. Loved you salesman anecdote below.
