because this went clean and easy.mind you the actual warp will be tied to these after it's threaded and sleyed or maybe before and then threaded and sleyed. haven't decided yet.

and now the spring note: my momiji is coming out in its new home. looks like the cold did it good.

i am going to teach myself sectional warping with this  disaster/mess. a beautiful  indigo dyes silk warp that accidentally got cut while warping. how you may ask; i too asked myself. cutting some ties in two of the chains; went ahead and finished the job. now i have about a meter

 and the rest which i plan to tie yarn by yarn 

after i warp that cut meter. i know i am taxing myself, but perseverance is my game. and i'd hate to throw away that beautiful warp.

by posting about this i feel i am contributing to the general well being as people tend to get depressed because everyone else's life is beautiful and perfect.  (゜。゜)

back to fun and games

the latest installment. the white is stamped on gold thread  therefore now you see it now you don't.

think i'm going to make composites with

all these. they are actually samples, 

but i got carried away and they go beyond samples. there's enough warp for 3 more.

spring is here. mimosas are out and the prunus too. this year i'll do hanami here.

always been interested in print on print. trying to achieve it without a jacq loom.

the weft here is gold thread which does not photograph well; top  and bottom 2cms are same jute yarn as the  warp. 

oh the scent when i open the studio window!
