fingerless mits on the k machine.

 laying to rest the creatures and making something useful  although my machine doesn't like that very much. it works better when it's just non functional work.

the yarn is sock yarn from tiger 1€! reprocessed wool and some nylon. didn't want to spend much on it as i was not sure of the outcome.for the price it's quite good.

now on with the other hand.although on second thought i'm going to make the mitts longer so that they come up to the knuckles. this one will be kept in the samples binders.

got the tripod out in the long run because i wanted a sharp image.







but in a recycler's home
 even images get recycled.

once you get the hang

you can't stop transferring.i was enthusiastically transferring from bed to bed after 8 pasess that i forgot that the stitches had to be dropped and not transferred ಠ ಠ.
the error gave me a sample with other possibilities, serendipitous learning.

it paid off,got the pattern done. much toil and 100% concentration, but satisfactory.

above before blocking.the bottoms of the circles looked weirdly solid.

after blocking.DUH i had to tug and stretch a bit so that the stitches dropped to the end of the pattern.yes, always fighting dropped stitches and this one is just about dropping them.lol.

to prove this was not just beginner's luck i whipped out another sample.
