no big deal

just sampling on some leftover warp using 32 twist x cm wool. a pain to wind bobbins, but looking forward to the collapse. plain weave, 3/1 and 1/3 twills.

don't know why,but that shuttle feels very good in my hands; it's becoming my favorite.

did some tidying too. not a cally booker tidying, but henceforth i can see the floor.  ^_^

everything is quiet, very little traffic. people are enjoying the mega long weekend ; too bad the skies have not been cooperative.

i don't do cute, in fact i detest cuteness in grown up women.i find it as a dumbing down confinement to women; you're cute,children are cute:ergo you are a child.

the feminist just spoke and stepped down the soapbox before it would get harangue like.

i was at tiger stores, like a chinese dollar bazaar, but with good scandinavian design.their products are useful, well designed, inexpensive and not use and throw away.

i was there looking for some post it pads and at the entrance there were these wooden spools filled with xmas cuterie ribbons and trimmings,all extremely falalalala.

seeing beyond that the spools could be used for yarn odds and ends.the spools are 8 cms tall and can hold 50-100 mts fine grist yarns.

at 1€ each i can wait until i go back to japan and get itomakis.
