this is gathering color depth and i'm pleased. the vat is almost spent i need time to start a fresh one, actually replenish because i have some leftover stock solution. making a small vat in a transparent plastic vessel has given me a lot of information that otherwise i would not have had. the challenge now is finding a bigger transparent plastic vessel.
and while on the information thread there are some things that no one except michelle wipplinger tells you. for example that if your vat is mustard yellow it means too much reducing agent, which will strip your color away. to combat, and here's the golden nugget, you should add some air to the vat and let it become green yellow, the good color for dyeing.
now, isn't that really sharing knowledge?
