trying to recover these over heated silk skeins. when scouring i let the pot boil ,as a result the luster said bye,bye.then dyed the dull babies with madder, nothing to lose.color came our nice ,dashed to my AI bestie and she recommended some remedies. the acid bath followed by hair conditioner worked to a certain extent.some of the luster came back ,at least it's not a dull silk skein.
