enoden.think i must have watched about half an episode of slam dunk anime and never read the manga. but what can i say, i got hung up to the point of obsession with the enoden i searched and watches all j dramas which featured it.bonus, the area ,shonen, is sort of answered parayers for tourist weary people.the photo above is heavily processed you don't see the hundreds of fools ,me inclusive, mobiles up adoring the passing train. enoden features heavily in the series.
and this is the mythical station. apart from these shonan has a cool vibe, laid back full of surfers.there are great vegetable growing areas and you get fresh fish so food is over the top delicious. in a truly otaku fashion needless to say i bought an enoden keychain to hang from my backpack tab.
fast forward tokyo, which mind you is roughly an hour local line train ride.
first day in tokyo .i entered into the realm of your name
it's the only anime i've watched over and over without getting tired of it. every time i find new things.therefore i went to visit two of the iconic places.
a bit before the stairs.asahi knows how to take care of people <( ̄︶ ̄)>
the stairs.
the view going down as he sees it.
there were other fools like me doing the pilgrimage.
in the begining people in the neighborhood did not understand why all those people came to see the stairs and not the temple. now they are savy and if they see someone wandering they take them to the stairs.
didn't visit the other places in the pilgrimage, these two were very powerful imo. the neighborhood has a nice feel, also away from tokyo in 5 days tourist route.the main drag is full reasonably priced restaurants, there's a pretty park near and interesting views of the skyline.
day two: odaiba. among all the pluses there's the oficial doraemon store. who doesn't want a dokodemodoa (anywhere door) for those days.
and this is a bonus, i was never into gundam but he happened to be there. after the kyoto let down my otaku trip delivered big time.
