🥕🥕🥕 my favorite  no brainer dye. a pretty yellow green, sometimes bordering chartreuse. funny how i've come to understand and like the formerly hated green.this is silk mordanted with alum at 10%wof and dyed at 20% dyestuff per  wof.

verifying that potash alum on silk gives better brighter colors,also dyeing cold which preserves the colorants in the dyestuff, especially fresh raw stuff.

next time you buy a carrot bunch try dyeing with the tops.
