this year's crop

this capsicum chinense  was planted too late last season  and being from the tropics it had to overwinter inside. my studio faces east and it has great growing conditions.

look at all these beautiful
seedlings. there are thai basils
 still tiny yellow tom plants
on the left and purple passionfruit.
crossing my fingers on those.
once established they thrive
outside

overwuntered jalapeños ,third year plant. i am keeping those pklants longer instead of treating them as annuals. hate to discard all that good genetic information.

the rains have boosted the eggplants and lettuces.
amazing how they have grown in a week.
rain is an asset, ask the gulf and arabic countries.
