future possible

back from oviedo, the cool weather and the gorgeous flowers and fields. nothing like having plenty of rainfall.

the exercise above is the culmination of this one. the buff layer unifies the cacophony of shapes, in a play of hide and seek. i'm calling it completed.

this one's also called complete.
plus some extra shapes on the upper left corner to frame the flowers and make them focal.
discovering glazes to produce unity.

sorry bear with me. the paper curled and no masking tape could hold it in shape .

  1. I like both of these pieces. Thank God for Photoshop, which lets you "iron" out those unruly curling papers. We use the tools we have...

  2. These are wonderful. I rather like the eccentric edges...
