i've always felt insecure about composition it's been more of a hit and miss feeling, never satisfied, always doubting.
therefore as part of my moving on strategies for the year i decided to revise composition by taking an on line refresher course.
here are the first lesson exercises all grouped(and looking wonky because of different sizes;
apologies for the awful quality)
so far it has been fun and games.i am going to devote one whole week to each exercise in order to take them to the boring point.that's when i know i've explored most of the possibilities.
photography comes very handy because i shift around the elements, shoot , shift again and so on .
it's also a way of dealing with records without creating clutter.
Would you mind sharing the name/link to your course? Would be useful for me as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm interested in purchasing the iridescent scarf (lower left image) on your urban classics webpage, but am getting a Paypal error which I try to click through. ("The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount.") Could you just send me a Paypal invoice? web@amyfibre.com
Thanks!
The boring point sounds like a good strategy. I use that for weaving designs a lot. When a variation of a design gets to tht point, I stop and choose the best 4 or 5 of what I got before that point. Thank heavens for computers, or I'd be wasting a lot of silk!
ReplyDeleteQuesta foto che raggruppa i tuoi esercizi è di per sé un'opera d'arte.
