I'm a weaving admirer - I know nothing about weaving. The top band looks more structured, the bottom band looks like it would have more drape. Again, no weaving experience, just what it looks like. How will you use this - what will it be?
The two bands look very different to me, two differen patterns. I love the colors in any circumstance! I'm not sure which one I'd prefer, depends on what it is going to be and how you picture the finished item. Do the bands have a different touch?
top band is two shuttles, bottom is two threads x pass.
I vote for the two shuttles - go on it really isn't that much torture!
