of useful samples


one of my pet peeves with sampling is the accumulation of pieces not big enough for making something out of them;i am  going to  tip toe on the spent time.
so this one is going to become either a coin purse, an eyeglass case or a cross-body whatnot.
the warp was dyed with cochineal in 2 shades, carrot tops and indigo.the weft is procion teal blue.








love how the pattern emerges and disappears.
and the no pressure weaving attitude.and holding my japanese shuttles in my hand, and...
(looks like the days are getting longer. sunlight is a balm)

  6. gorgeous color transition. i have lots of knitting samples and i decided i'm going to stitch them all together somehow to make one large piece.
