the brain. spent all day yesterday cleaning, creating space from the void and checking the machine.
still haven't run it because i had to change the sponge bar.
i have to get to know the original brain before i can hack it. trusting one of my japanese classmates, the coding wiz, can help me if i get stuck. actually what i am going to wine and dine him for is to write a code so i can use photoshop directly w. the new brain. more of that on its due date.
and if most people have already realized and accepted the fact that a dobby loom hooked to a computer is STILL handweaving they will come to terms with an electronic knitting machine. amen.
neki desu
See for some beautiful work being done with "jacquard" knitting. I don't know if she uses Photoshop or some specialized app for design, but it's very similar to "jacquard" weaving in effect. You'll have a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteThose look fantastic. I depend on mine for computing in cold weather. Weaving keeps my hands warm but at the keyboard/mouse - brrrrr,
