black cherries, tuck samples

and the lace carriage is not working. because i have to learn and become comfortable with the whole electronic set up   i am sampling the patterns that are in the user's manual, my only liberty was the color choice.


all cool, fair isle, tuck stitch and two color tuck.

but the lace sample is not going anywhere. there's something 

i can't fathom that prevents the carriage from selecting the 

needles and it just knits stockinette. going to start sending s.o.s. messages in the various lists and ravelry.

i am sure it's a totally silly something, but it escapes me.

when i get frustrated i go back to the loom and weave .

nothing like old friends.
