back at the loom

testing the ground if you pardon the pun. the grist of the pattern yarns and the relationship with the ground warp. colors also. although this won't be for wearables those considerations nonetheless matter.

already weaving. disregard the pins   ^ _^
sewing is on hold. still not sure of how to cut the fabric to its best advantage.
note to self:
have to think of pattern placement when weaving yardage.

 lovely find ;all you've ever wanted to know about yarns how they turn into fabric and what to do with the said fabric.
 another lovely find passap duo 80 knitting machine.thinking,thinking.  
(did not know that passap was pfaff)

  1. After all the thought - and work - you put into your weaving...I can understand the hesitation to cut. Love that you're planning where you're going to lay your pattern pieces as you weave.
