finale

colors changed with the different manipulations, after all it took over 6 months to complete, with the dyes resting in order to develop.the ai layer didn't work as i wanted therefore i overdyed with mx dyes. purists abstain from looking :)
still not sure whether to iron it flat or leave the textures. What do you think?

i'll be adding it tomorrow to the shop along with a better color rendition photo because there's a bit more yellow than what  came out.

  3. lovely. use what works. i think, going out on a limb, that ironed would be nice in order to see all the nuances. my 2cents.

  5. Love, love, love it! I vote for keeping the textures. Makes the process visibel.

  7. That is beautiful! I have signed up for a shibori workshop this weekend so hopefully, I can better understand the process and the different types of manipulations!

  8. To my mind, the crinkles are inherent in shibori, so I vote to leave them.

    Beautiful piece, Neki!
