simple

following my current trend. seems i am only interested in simplicity these days. perhaps as an escape from these complicated times.
a silk crepe weave on a well behaved-so far- warp.

the said warp woven with my favorite japanese shuttle which gives me moments of infinite joy.
pleasant in the hand, its history learned when i met the maker.
the weft is an interesting irregular silk i bought 25 years ago on my first trip to japan.it was bought in a shop in hachioji, the town where sensei lives.
dreaming of benibana in the future.

the long story

maybe i should pair it with the silk indigo fabric and make a top instead of swathing myself in a scarf.
in times like this i really miss sandra rude and her insights.
