at last

sample warp finished.i was working on the table loom so it took its time.double weave stripes in white crepe wool 32 tpi and grey merino. the second half is the wool stainless yarn i bought in japan.
off the loom and it's already wavy.

the stainless-wool half

the merino half.it shrank a lot more than the wool stainless, pushing out the white wool crepe into little kinks

tieying another sample to the left over thrums, this time silk.

blast from the past

found these from 2005 and they are not entirely bad. still like them. woven in hemp and merino wool, wet finished in hot water.then stitched and assembled on digitally printed organza. some stitching added.
