all together now

downtown business.geezz had never seen so many hipsters in my life. they felt and looked weird amid the gothic buildings and churches. taking side streets to avoid the hipster crowds i passed this store.
finally found it after some years not coinciding with the opening hours.the store name is  all you knit is love so please appreciate the post title ^_^
nice, very nice quality yarns mostly for knitting, but there are some gorgeous linens that are absolutely weavable. and best of the best, local.

the destasher made a small purchase,
45 grams of 16/4 fine linen in a smokey mauve.didn't have
the heart to leave this small cone alone in that store with all
those big skeins and balls.

never fails

the big blue box cuts it. been looking for something comfortable, tall and with foot rest to use for the looms for years and years, making do with what i could find. but in the latest catalog saw this chair-stool and dashed there before it sold out.
i am smitten. right height, foot rest, comfortable, very easy to set up and the price was almost embarrassing.
have to go back and get a couple more to be kept as replacements.you know how it is once you find something that works for you it gets discontinued.

hitting the mark

one repeat,889 passes,69 cms. assorted weaving drama and bs have accompanied these passes:
sticky yarns, many, many broken warps, stretched loom cords, shafts sticking and not lifting.i think it all was a result of the obscene heat we've experienced.
the good news is that those 69 cms will get me a sleeve ^_^.
going to the big blue box to get a chair. there's one in the latest catalog that looks like it might work.
that will also help to speed up the weaving a little.
beauty shots tomorrow.
