under the influence

been busy chasing the snow. quite the excitement for someone born in the tropics and who has lived in the med all her adult life. keep checking the range and the surrounding mountains. it has gone from a dusting of confectioner's sugar to something more substantial. apparently between today and tomorrow it's going to be the big days. hope the low clouds disperse and i can take photos.

have spent   nice and cosy  inside studio time. it snowed on this WIP as i covered it with acrylic. it's interesting what a thin  layer of snow can do to the landscape.

that gives beautiful yarns.i have seen  woven cloth much like  hemp cloth.

color correction

i have also been doing some light menial work such as correcting some underwear pinks into something much more palatable.i hate pink!
the first skein is more coral. the last one was blah beige and so was the one on the infamous linen warp.yep, still on the loom. i had enough with the hand to add insult to injury.

stitches gone. now have to live in gloves to protect the hand from sun and scarring differently.think i can do it.
i've been binge watching the series  younger. interesting if you want to understand millenialworld. we'll be ruled by them if we are lucky and they don't exterminate anyone over 30.

epic weekend

snow in the mountains,rain in the valleys.

i also had time to cut myself badly while changing the sponge bar in the k machine.

sunday afternoon at the er  4 stitches and tetanus shot.of course it had to be the right hand.

will lay low until next monday when the stitches will be removed.

still cringe when i walk past the studio.
