as i was saying

seasons don't matter. daturas which are supposed to bloom in the summer are in bloom now. at least mine are.not fully enjoying them because it's too cold to dine outside accompanied by their lovely scent.

at least in the med. when a vat is good, it is good. first dip. note the scarf on the left and the way the ai is acting on the stamped paint. the silk yarns came out great.

a tied up morning

an all morning project.
 bryan san says to wet before tieing and i'm wetting it having never done it before. can't help thinking of  sensemayá when i look at the drawn cloth while tieing ends together.
  expecting a difference. and my dears, the vat looks di-vine!

sunday was grey and rainy, very conductive for a stitching sprint. managed to do all the above before my finger hurt. does anyone  else find stitching with a thimble impossible?

this morning's sprint. and it's all stitched up!

drawing up this afternoon. hopefully dyeing tomorrow.curiosity's killing me. what is going to happen when indigo meets gold foiling?

is it halloween yet?

second step of the upcycling  shibori project:many,many marks  following a tutorial from bryan-sensei.
curious to see how this turns out, because it has some stamping, but then again i have nothing to lose and whatever gain is all gain. it feels great to be so free:)
our share of sandy: rain, cold and bad satellite and internet connections.but i'm not complaining, just sating facts.
