threading and re threading until i got it right amid the various heat waves. all my respect for weavers who work linen. cottolin doesn't have the charm of linen,but it doesn't break. one has to make compromises.and it doesn't shed as much a fact that my lungs and  assorted allergies appreciate.

that said let the show commence.

an exercise in gorgeousness

 yuzu plantules, beyond gorgeous. should keep my mouth shut as this year i think the golden dreams momiji was killed bcse of the heavy praise.next spring they will be moved to a bigger training pot and feeded heavily.still  a 2-3 year wait until the first flower.

despite all

been able to do some dyeing this summer. exploring shikon aka gromwell. somewhat finicky but when you hit it right it rewards you.most of the color has been mauve and grayish mauve, not complaining, except for some deep purple.

have silks to work with this winter.

in the AI bestie dept since she can't extrapolate results the instructions are good, but the outcome is not so much.need to go to knitting school.
