the original weave blanket  white silk warp, golden beige nubby silk.

 

quick dip in walnut no heat. an interesting beige-brown with greenish undertones. it would qualify as bronze color.the above strip was modified in  an iron dip. guess less iron and more time would develop a more complex color. still pondering wich route to go.

loom with a view

 white eggplant and cucumber which i literally am watching it grow.

on the other side of the view.

weaving along with my favorite shuttle,an unpretentious subdued pattern. my current thoughts go along the line that that's enough for me now. no need to create a big statement justifiying what i am weaving with profound concepts and intricate words.

the tranquil joy of the materials, the feel of this special shuttle, watching the web grow. it's enough.  the web will hold those feelings and resonate with whomever  holds it.
