random hellebore

last spring i noticed a new to me weed. i have been learning about weeds since the move as they are different in the north. i pulled them out but on closer examination they sort of looked like hellebore leaves so i left one to confirm the theory.and here it is good plant flowering. awe inspiring as the ones i bought last winter died-note the spelling- on me.

this year if they propagate i know better and will leave them where the wind deposits them for new plants will grow.these on the right were bought some years ago. they are kind of scraggly, but blooming.one can't have it all.

the fun

monoprinting is spontaneous,immediate and extremely hands on.your nails get dirty with the paints.

it's an ideal releif from / release of /stress. you are allowed to make mistakes with no significant loss of materials and that gives a lot of freedom.

so back again to it . last week started japanese clasess and tai-chi.in full swing now. just need to get a small silk screen to do the fabric printing.
