jalapeños have profited from the hot spell, lots of flowers

toms are small but tasty and juicy.

newspapers have been writing about the effect of climate change and droughts on food produce.plants develop mechanisms to cope with lack of water and that alters their taste.nutrient values go down, as a result food is not as nutritious as it's supposed to be.not even real food will be nutritious. futurewhat future?

civics 101

this year the kukes have been trained and i have space for other vegs. already picked the first of the season and there are lots coming out.

i landed a simple recipe for cucumbers, includes chopped shiso leaves, mint and japanese pepper sansho. it gives an interesting tingly taste to complement the relative blandness of cucumbers.

seems that letuce season is over. on with eggplants.

this is not a year for tomatoes, just one day with a few hours with 28º the rest of the days it has fluctuated from 19 to 25º not complaining .at all.
