perfecting the process

it's been a long ride one thing and another,but there's confidence gained.seriously considering buying spools and doing away with warp chains. although now the tops and bottoms are marked with contrasting yarns the bouts still rebel and turn .⋋__⋌   let's see how many offrenders there are when i start threading.

i am compensating bingeing on northern exposure. when a script is good it doesn't age at all ,30 some years old, people and still resonates in the viewer.

the gift that keeps on giving ( ¨¨ ω¨¨ )

just to think i almost uprooted the kuke plant and it's on it's third crop! there are 4-5 more growing and i think it is going to go well into november.

this one although a late bloomer was 

also saved from uprooting.

 it had been doing nothing all summer long

and lo and behold it has 2 growing and  2 probable 

more.don't get it as the nights have gone cold.this

year plant wise has been odd to say the least.clems are sorry, hellebores the same,and heucheras are goners. toms' year as it has been hot and dry. one day it looks and feels like fall the next is back to summer.  ¯\ ( ツ ) /¯

historical warning : the book was written in 1933during the japanese expansion period  so nationalism is evident. tanizaki's aesthetics reflections ,however, are still valid.
