reporting on fishline

locally purchased arrived in 3 days, counting the weekend in between.

things learned:

• carbon coated is too stiff no matter how thin it is
• japanese technology rocks! buy japanese made fishline.
• think that 18 mm. is thin enough, yet sturdy. compared to sewing monofilament  much better .
• 25mm is too thick for my taste. trying 14 mm next.
• stitch formation and knit off are within the range of normal
• optimal tension 7

this is 25mm carbon coated. one of the problems is that stitches do not knit off well in more open areas  and eventually form ladders.if you want ladder effect, by all means use it.  because of stitch formation and knit off  it needs a lot of weights.
