gardening relief

pretty pelargonium plant. last year i thought it was going so i cut it and replanted . it worked. next on the left is a newly bought andalusian jasmine (jasminus oficinalis) which is the one with the heavenly scent.hard to find now that the  asiatic(trachelospelmum) variety has inundated the garden centers.
good ol' lidl is a not fail.

heucheras are  glorious this year, so are the hostas . it has been a cool  rainy spring so looking forward to lovely colors in the fall

the pleasure of an empty loom

spent all spring with this number. the silk was so thin that even doubled was thin. add some tension problems which lead to cutting and re beaming. warp is silk organzine  and the weft is a silk yarn
i bought in a shop in hachioji on my first trip to japan. it qualifies as vintage \(^▽^)/

but the outcome is splendid.

a chirimen wannabe crepe . waiting to be mordanted and dyed with safflower.
the f***up pieces will be dyed  processed and stamped, something will come out of them.waste not.
