burning off silk yarns like a mad woman.not because of style 😄but because i have cones and cones and i can knit without worrying i'm going to run out of yarn. i don't get a tight back knowing i won't run out of yarn in the middle of a project.
have learned some things during this time
- the obvious, that you can't work on 2 looms and 2 k machines at the same time.
- priorities: forget the poorly tensioned warp, concentrate on polishing knitting skills
- its easier to accidentally drop stitches than to unravel
- unravelling is quite a science, if started by the bottom it's a royal pain. one needs to start from the top, aka last rows finished.
proof of concept.
finally getting more comfortable with DAK although there are still things that bother me about the program.
have abandoned japanese youtube instructions for the time being.i think i am progressing a lot more by watching doramas and it's more fun. after all that's how i learned portuguese.
