unsatisfying

talk about glitchy. after opening the k-machine taking out the offending needle and putting the whole number back again,with no remaining surplus screws mind you.  the electronics didn't go up in smoke when turned on and  it knitted. with some mispatterning.😢

close inspection of what was happening led me to deduct that the wheel with solenoids placed next to the belt mechanism wasn't performing. opened the baby again and adjusted the wheel closer . it worked.

if i seriously studied coding and electronics i'd feel invincible like a 20 year old.

 now what to do with this piece,it IS glitchy,but in a non exciting way.

meanwhile on the other machine

a 2 color double bed jacquard.it is a series of pieces that will be assembled together in a larger one.

each piece is 100 needles wide and twice the length.

i had a problem with a needle which had to be changed and it snowballed into having to dismantle the machine. myself? pretty much going maniac. in the end there were no remaining screws and the electronics didn't blow up after all the rough handling. again, if you know how to read it is amazing what you can do. think this will be my motto for  the year.
