dream on

bit the dust. was really tired of unraveling ill fitting sweaters so went ahead and got knitting software.
although this one  can also knit images i am perfectly happy with img2track which is simple and efficient.
DAK is perhaps more complete but it also has a steeper learning curve. However IMO i think the real strength of it lies in garment designing and stitch manipulation-oh those sweet words!
i am not too frazzled about learning curves because i taught myself to be more than functional with photoshop. it all boils down to time: hours at the computer .first coming to grips with the prog, then going on to interactive knitting.
great sweaters awaiting to be born.

oh sweet bliss, normality at last.

went back to japanese class, have time to keep up language skills watching j-doramas, gone back to tai chi and walking and have spent quality studio time.
the idea i'm hashing is this: there's a big number of perfectly nice samples floating around the studio and being schlepped from table to table so why not think of a use for them.if there's fabric piecing why not knitted fabric piecing?
Overcoming the scissor trauma is a first step, the rest comes relatively easy.

so we are here.let's see where we go from here.
