it's very slow weaving and i'm getting bored..272 passes=8 cms .sigh.

  re-reading madame bovary is not helping much as it is a treatise on boredom as the cause of evils.

 to add some spunk i took my beloved gac 900 and started painting parts of the warp. at least i have bright colors to look forward to.

have been doing some dyeing too and teaching a friend the basics.

not much else is new; there were some very splendid days to be enjoyed and the nights are still long and cool. love summers up north.

the contrast between visible and invisible

short rows in white mohair. somewhat visible, but not quite. increasing rows will be invisible, and back again.have to plan some lace here as well.
my poor looms lie neglected.
