auditing and prepping

the only thing i miss about my place in barcelona is the sienna wall where i hung the dyed skeins of yarn.
 now that i can walk and climb stairs i am prepping these silk skeins with agar agar to make them warp possible.they have all been dyed with natural dyes during the past years.dyes include carrot tops,cochineal, boiled chestnut water, kakishibu, brazilwood and not in the picture, murasaki and pomegranate .
there's going to be color in the next weaving project.

life's what happens in between plans

two weeks out of commission with a sprained ankle looking like a black pudding sausage.

no japanese class, no gym, no walking no weaving, no knitting. NADA.

missed the yama sakura in the park and the rest of the mimosas. however my momiji survived the root pruning and looks good.

used all that time to edit and upload the photos from last year's  ಠ ಠ trip to japan. 

also took time to clear the extra photos in flickr bcse i'm not going back there and non payers only get 1k free. now i need to check all those broken links and re upload the photos😑

interesting while the powers that be were busy dismantling flickr to make it better the world changed and now flickr is/feels obsolete.
