extra uses

one of my hidden pleasures is finding other uses for things in general and tools in particular.

the tensioning unit was a sudden inspiration as a helper in winding bobbins with (overtwisted)  ultra fine crepe silk. nice tight well behaved bobbins ＼（＾▽＾）／

my bestie from the old, old days will be in town for a week therefore my presence here is going to be haphazard.

loom parts. the hack was re designed for simplicity's sake. taking both uprights to the carpenter to be duplicated.these in turn will be bolted to the horizontals that serve as "feet" one of the beams needs to be set up with the sectional kit. guess summer will still find it as is.the carpenter is awol.

at last

sample warp finished.i was working on the table loom so it took its time.double weave stripes in white crepe wool 32 tpi and grey merino. the second half is the wool stainless yarn i bought in japan.

off the loom and it's already wavy.
