even if you don't see them often.received this book yesterday and have just glossed through it.the eye candy! a very erudite book that compares all the reds and the cultures they came from. needs careful reading.

meanwhile at the puff paste dept.have to practice stamping 

to get good definition. using a screen is easier, but it has

some drawbacks.i'm new to this therefore it's like all: practice,practice, practice.

this is a practice piece, like the background, the stamping needs more definition,the tyveck is a recycled piece so nothing's lost. will i have the required 100 hours to master the technique-any technique?

despite the rain

a good weekend was had (been wanting to say that for a long time). it was cool so i could concentrate on working and not sweating.even wove for a long while!

finished this lutradur  piece that had been waiting for better times. painted and stamped background,pieced woven scarp from this project -nothing goes to waste-machine and hand stitching and puff paint. really like those voids!

i want to explore puff paint further, would like to

do something to erase that school craft hour look.
