it's a cliché, but it's a  nice looking one!  40/1 unbleached linen and cotton give or take the same size.

blocking the other piece and hopefully i'll be able to sew it together this afternoon, heat providing.

some people think machine knitting is cheating. so let's go all the way into cheatdom then and cut and sew  the pieces together.

the color changer has been tamed down as you can see.now waiting for a punch card pattern book i ordered to punch some 2 color mazes. more 2 color knitting ahead.

today japan celebrates obon. singing, dancing and paying respect to those who have left. more information including traffic here.
tanabata,  the festival of lights and coincidentally the patron of weavers, was on the 13th so it has been a pretty festive week over there.
