a gift from my friend atsuko.apparently the peak was on the 9th.

on collaboration

a plain weave in silk with some wire added.the piece was flat and  somewhat commonplace nothing exciting happening.fabbiene added wool, felted it and added some stitched circles creating a lovely texture.she sent it back to me with some  your turn message of sorts.

i'm here now after wrapping it and dyeing in my brazilwood soup.i also added some black stitching and am foreseeing more to come.collaboration projects are enriching provided there are no deadlines. :)

 turning a page now i am reading this  article on  fabric hoarding and hiding very slowly. it exposes a variety of ideas i found quite  disturbing.you can download the pdf from the site.
