that the usb/port adapter finally arrived from la france. was installed over the weekend by the resident geek and i am now threading the dobby loom. had to start from the beginning because as the old laptop fried the weaving program had to be re installed and the point where i left was lost. i'm not complaining. the fall of saigon was much worse.
